PRESTON GLASS... 彼の名前にピンと来た方はかなりの裏方通。「KENNY G / DUOTONES」「NATALIE / MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY」を始め、EARTH, WIND & FIRE、WHITNEY HOUSTON、GEORGE BENSON、ARETHA FRANKLIN他、数多くのフュージョン、R&B系大物達の楽曲のソング・ライティング、プロデュースを手がけたサウンド・クリエイターの集大成とも言えるセカンド・ソロ・アルバムが遂に完成。
2005年発表のファースト・ソロ「STREET CORNER PROPHECY」はその高いクォリティにも関わらず、自身のプライベート・レーベル制作であった為か一部ソウル/R&Bマニアの間で語られるのみだったが、本作はコンテンポラリー・ソウル/R&Bの制作、発表で信頼の高い英国EXPANSIONレーベルからのリリース。

Preston says of "Music As Medicine", his brand new album on Expansion Records, "Because of the way that music has always been a healing force, a feel-good source, and a life-saving course in my life, I wanted to do a project that had that effect on those that would hear it. Whether it's the melody, the lyric, or just the sheer groove, I set out composing and arranging songs that had the thread of "soul-stirring" and "heart touching". Once the songs started to evolve, the core of guest artists and musicians started to formulate in a natural way; primarily because people usually want to be involved in something that would make people "feel better". Names such as Ali Woodson, Rebbie Jackson, Brian Culbertson, Maurice White, Dave Koz, Larry Graham, Amy Keys, Wilton Felder & LaToya London (of "American Idol" fame) all contributed to the potpourri stew of nourishing music.
