オープニングの1曲目をかざる、サム・ディーズの塩辛ヴォイスが炸裂する「Lonely For You Baby」で幕を開け、その後もクラレンス・マレー、アド・リブス、ウィンフィールド・パーカー、スカル・スナップス等、ソウル・ファンが唾を飲むアーティスト/トラックが満載！音源は全て68年〜74年産、ソウル・ミュージック豊作イヤーズの作品です！流石の英OUTTA SIGHT！2010年最後までソウル・ファンを唸らせてくれます。

East meets West in this melting pot of post-65 Northern and Funk tinged Soul, another Soul Essential from Outta Sight.
Today we pay homage to 2 great bastions of Soul - Shelby Singleton's colossus SSS INTERNATIONAL and the motion picture subsidiary GSF Music Corp. Both labels issued a heady mix of deep, sweet, funk and classic Soul including Northern rarities “Lonely For You Baby” Sam Dees and “I Can See Him Loving You” Anderson Bros.
It's not just the ‘heavenly' output of the labels that link them together, they both originate from New York although SSS had moved operations to Nashville in 1968, some 4 years before the GSF imprint emerged.
Here we have - for the first time - the combined upbeat Soul sides of SSS/GSF…keep on dancin'!
